Socks, Socks, Socks, Socks, SS-Socks, Socks, Socks, Socks... EVERYBODY

Get the title? Its like the song Shots but it's Socks because I am a knitter and like making people laugh (hopefully) and I can be really lame sometimes.

So as I finish my current sock project, my brain is gearing up for the next one. If you follow my blog you may know that I purchased some great yarn from a little out of the way shop in New York on my vacation this past summer. Now that I have this great sock yarn, I have been planning on using this for a two at a time sock project.

This is the yarn: Mini Mochi by Crystal Palace in the color way Storm Clouds.

My problem is that I cannot decide on which pattern to make! I have 2 sock patterns that would work well with this variegated yarn, but I am not sure which to make. So if you want to vote below in the comments section that would be awesome.

These two patterns are very simple but yet pretty and easy for my first pair of two at a time socks.

#1: Simple Skyp Socks by Adrienne Ku

Credit: Islandknit's socks #59. She used mini mochi, this is a good example of how mini mochi produced "fraternal twins" not identical twins.
I like the simple detailing on these socks. Because the yarn is variegated it needs a nice simple pattern to show off its great colors.

#2: Pillars by Lisa Stitchweh

I like the second design as well... although I am leaning more toward the first one. My only worry is the first one might be too boring. Hmm... decisions to make!

What do you think? Vote in the comment section for either #1 or #2!
